This version adds full support for 64-bit environments and the ability to process very large files of up to 200 megapixels. Additionally, it brings major improvements in speed - the software starts up almost instantaneously, and image processing is up to two times faster than in version 3.1 - and adds full compatibility with Photoshop CS3, CS4, CS5, Photoshop Elements 9 and 10, and Aperture 3. .

Thanks to DxO Labs’ advanced calibration technologies, DxO FilmPack brings all the emotion and creativity of silver halide photography to your digital images. By means of a simple and intuitive interface, both beginning and expert photographers alike can apply any of the authentic characteristics of color, contrast, saturation, and grain of more than 60 famous analog films to a digital photo. With 25 additional renderings and numerous processing tools available, DxO FilmPack offers users a palette of infinite creativity.

INCREASED POWER AND SPEED

The software algorithms have been adapted to run in 64 bits. DxO FilmPack is now able to process very large files of up to 200 megapixels.

Further, this new version has been optimized, particularly with respect to managing memory. The software starts up almost instantaneously, and image processing is up to two times faster than in version 3.1.

EXTENDED COMPATIBILITY

DxO FilmPack v3.2 runs in both 32 and 64 bits as standalone software. As a plugin, it is now fully compatible with:

  * Adobe® Photoshop® CS 4
  * Adobe® Photoshop® CS 5
  * Apple® Aperture® 3

DxO FilmPack v3.2 is also compatible with Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 9 and 10, thereby reaching an even greater number of photography lovers.

IMPROVED ERGONOMICS

The faithful reproduction of grains is now visible in the resizable filmstrip at the bottom of the screen, allowing users to see an effect before applying it to their images.

In addition, users can now use arrow keys as well as improved scroll wheel action for more intuitive navigation within the renditions library.

CREATIVITY AND EMOTIONS TO SHARE

Thanks to the large number of controls available, photographers can unleash their creativity and lend a unique atmosphere to their images. Customized renderings can be saved in a dedicated library, and a new import-export feature (available in the DxO FilmPack v3.2 Expert edition) allows users to share their customized renditions with one another.
