DxO Labs have released version 2.1.4 of DxO ViewPoint, a program dedicated to fixing problems with keystoning and volume anamorphosis. This update adds new camera/lens combinations to automatically correct distortion in JPEG and TIFF photos.

DxO Optics Pro v9.1.4 and DxO ViewPoint v2.1.4 are now available

DxO Optics Pro v9.1.4 now offers support for the Nikon D4S (Elite Edition only) and for three additional cameras (Standard Edition): the new Sony A5000, the Leica X Vario (Type 107), and the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition. DxO ViewPoint v2.1.4 also benefits from the latest addition of new camera/lens combinations to automatically correct distortion in JPEG and TIFF images.

170 new DxO Optics Modules

DxO Optics Pro v9.1.4 has been enriched with new DxO Optics Modules: 170 new camera/lens combinations have been added to the library, offering support for GoPro, Leica, Nikon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina and Zeiss lenses for many GoPro, Leica, Nikon, and Sony cameras.

Among the new lenses supported are the Sony FE Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* 24-70mm F4 ZA OSS, the new transtandard lens in the line dedicated to the Sony Alpha 7 and 7R, and the Sony 70-200mm F2.8 G SSM II.

DxO Optics Modules contain all of the information about the characteristics of each camera and lens so that DxO Optics Pro 9 can automatically correct distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and lens softness with an unrivaled level of quality. Nearly 18,000 camera/lens combinations are currently available.

DxO ViewPoint v2.1.4 also benefits from the addition of new camera/lens combinations to automatically correct distortion in JPEG and TIFF photos.

Indispensable companion to wide-angle lenses, DxO ViewPoint fixes even the most complex problems with perspective, and easily restores the natural shapes of subjects situated on the edges of images.

Based on DxO Labs’ expertise in lens calibration, the software corrects barrel, pincushion, and fisheye distortion. DxO ViewPoint works with all equipment, much of which also benefits from the automatic corrections provided by DxO Optics Modules.
