As a plugin, DxO ViewPoint now integrates perfectly with DxO OpticsPro: its features are readily accessible in a new dedicated palette that brings together all of the tools for correcting perspective problems and volume deformation. Its interface has also been redesigned for the most comfortable possible user experience while still keeping the same visual tools as in the standalone application version (which allows for ultra-precise placement of anchor points). October 29, 2014 – DxO Labs announces the immediate availability of DxO ViewPoint v2.5 for Mac and Windows, the software dedicated to fixing perspective problems and correcting volume deformation. This upgrade allows DxO ViewPoint 2 to interact perfectly with DxO OpticsPro 10.

The indispensible companion for wide-angle lenses, DxO ViewPoint fixes even the most complex perspective problems, and easily restores the natural shape to subjects situated on the edges of images. Benefitting from all of DxO’s know-how in terms of lens calibration, DxO ViewPoint corrects barrel, pincushion, and fisheye distortion. It works with all equipment, much of which also benefits from the automatic corrections provided by DxO Optics Modules.

DxO ViewPoint can be used with a single license as a plugin for DxO OpticsPro, Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, Adobe Lightroom, Apple Aperture, and as a standalone application for Mac and PC.
