EDGE Tech Corp Announces New Lifetime Warranty for Digital Media and Portable Storage Products

New warranty one of the industry’s longest

Dallas, TX - January 18, 2005—EDGE Tech Corp, a leading supplier of DRAM and Flash memory upgrades, portable computing products, storage devices, and other experience-enhancing technology solutions announced today a new lifetime warranty on its complete line of digital media products as well as the majority of its portable storage product line.

The new lifetime warranty includes all DiskGO! USB Flash Drives*, the DiskGO! USB Flash Drive Plus Ink Pen, and all digital media flash cards including Compact Flash®, MultiMedia™ Cards, SD Memory Cards™, xD-Picture Cards , and Smart Media™ Cards. The warranty also includes EDGE flash card readers. The warranty modification makes EDGE the only major manufacturer to offer a lifetime warranty on USB Flash Drives, and digital media cards and readers. Prior to this upgrade, the company’s warranties on such products ranged from one to five years.

*Lifetime warranty is not extended to the company’s USB Watch Drive products. The DiskGO! USB Watch Drive products will continue to carry a one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
