EPSON DEBUTS ITS NEW DIGITAL IMAGING SOLUTIONS AT MACEXPO 2004 - STAND 440
19th- 22nd November 2003 - EPSON’s first UK viewing of the EPSON F-3200 multi-format film scanner, EPSON PhotoPC P-2000 portable multimedia storage viewer and EPSON L-500V digital camera will take place at MacExpo 2004.
The EPSON F-3200 is aimed at professionals and experienced amateur photographers who want to scan their film quickly without sacrificing quality. A multi-format dedicated film scanner, it allows professionals and experienced amateurs to quickly scan reflective prints of up to 4” x 6” in addition to 35mm film through to 5” x 4” sheet film. It is the first film scanner to support a built-in memory card reader, so users can scan direct to memory cards for additional ease of use.
Compatible with either a Mac or PC, the Epson F-3200 is also ideal for those wanting to digitise their film archive or who shoot in film whilst requiring the capability to create digital images for manipulation and printing. Featuring advanced software the F-3200 enables photographers to scan 35mm and medium format film in batches and at the same time remove dust and scratches from images. The built-in LCD screen allows photographers to preview scanned images quickly and easily.
Next in the line up is the EPSON P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer the latest digital imaging accessory that enables you to save your photos from your digital camera memory card and view them on the 3.8 inch Photo Fine display. The Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer gives a high-quality mutlimedia experience and offers digital photographers and lovers of gadgets a compact solution for downloading and storing their photos, whether at home, in the studio or on the move.
By using the Epson P-2000 Multimedia Storage Viewer you are able to store and view your photo albums, create slide shows and connect to your photo printer, computer or TV. In addition to the quality photo viewing capabilities, the Epson P-2000 provides support for digital camera and camcorder movies and music files. You can add music files to your slide shows for a fun and lively presentation of your images. Also included is a 40 GB hard disk drive, that can double up as a portable storage unit for any Mac or PC file.
Finally in EPSON’s debut line up is the Epson PhotoPC L-500V. A compact 5 mega pixel digital camera combined with a 2.5 inch Photo Fine viewer. It is the world’s highest definition consumer display on the market with 256 pixels per inch (ppi) and enables accurate viewing and sharing of photos direct from the camera screen.
Also included are outdoor and movie modes. The outdoor mode alternates between high brightness and high contrast so you can take high-quality photos in adverse light conditions. The movie mode offers VGA resolution at 30 frames per second for smooth picture production.
Visitors to the EPSON stand will also be able to browse through various zones each specifically displaying products relevant to applications and market requirements. The home photographic zone will include live demonstrations of the award winning Epson PictureMate, the Stylus C86PE, Stylus Photo R200 and Stylus Photo R300.
For those seeking an all-in-one home digital photo solution providing scanning, copying and printing features the home photo centre zone includes demonstrations of the Stylus Photo RX420, Stylus Photo RX-500 and Stylus Photo RX600.
The user searching for a high quality photo printer or scanning device should head towards the photo enthusiast and professional photographer zone. EPSON will have on display both the Stylus Photo R800 and Stylus Photo 2100 printers. Both printers are coupled with demonstrations of the Perfection 2580 Photo, EPSON F-3200 and Perfection 4870 Photo scanners.
Mac users seeking a cost effective print solution to produce graphics, indoor display materials, proofs, whether at home or within the office should view the live demonstration of Stylus Photo 1290s within the CAD and design zone. The Stylus Photo 1290s will be coupled with the Perfection 4180 Photo scanner.
Serious professional photographers will also be able to get close up to the world’s first range finder digital camera - EPSON Rangefinder Digital Camera RD-1 Accepting both Leica L- and M-mounts, it offers a new platform to link the future with the past. A huge number of lens types - more than 200 - have been created and sold over the long history of photography. The EPSON Rangefinder RD-1 provides twenty-first century photographers with a way to use rangefinder lenses. It also provides photographers with the chance to develop new styles of photography by allowing them to resurrect their familiar rangefinder lenses in a digital world.
Finally if large format printouts are of the utmost importance the EPSON Stylus Pro 4000, Stylus Pro 7600, Stylus Pro 9600 printers will be displayed on our partner stand Computers Unlimited - Stand Number 420.
