28th May 2007 – The Epson Stylus D92 is the ideal A4 entry level home printer for everyday printing such as photos, documents, presentations, internet pages and homework. It features four individual ink cartridges at £6.99 each, making it cost-effective as only the colour that is used needs to be replaced. A value multipack containing all 4 cartridges is also available. The Stylus D92 features Epson DURABrite Ultra Ink which delivers borderless, lab quality glossy photos, up to A4 size, as well as laser-like text and is resistant to water, smudging and fading. It achieves a fast print speed of 25 pages per minute and is perfect for printing on any type of paper.
The Stylus D92 also includes Epson Creativity Suite software, which ensures it is easy to manage, file and print photos. With its user-friendly interface, images are accessed from a range of devices such as a digital camera or scanner whilst Epson Easy Photo Print makes it simple to remove red-eye.
It also features Epson PhotoEnhance for users who want optimum image quality without the need for manual photo manipulation. It automatically detects skin tones, landscapes and skylines to give the best colour settings for high-quality photos.
Epson DURABrite Ultra Ink is an advanced pigment-based ink technology that encapsulates each pigment particle in a protective resin coating. This makes the ink resistant to water, smudging and fading and provides laser-like text and glossy photos, which last up to 200 years when stored in a photo album1.
Mark Robinson, Product Manager for Epson, says “The Stylus D92 is ideal for homes that want high-quality prints for both photos and documents. It offers a competitive price for customers seeking an easy to use, high-quality printer, for everyday printing needs. However, Epson has not sacrificed any of its core technologies.
