18 September 2012 - Epson will showcase its full range of LFP, pro-photo and consumer photo products at this year’s Photokina, demonstrating solutions for everyone, from high-end professional photographers, creative designers and advanced amateurs, through to consumers with a desire to print out high-quality photos at home.

The stand will offer practical application demonstrations of Epson products in use, once again highlighting the breadth and versatility of the company’s technological capability.

One of these demonstrations will take place using Epson’s new digital dry lab, the SureLab SL-D3000, which has been developed for on-demand print services in traditional minilab retail environments. During the show, the SureLab will be printing out greetings cards for UNICEF, which visitors can buy and all proceeds will be donated to UNICEF directly.

Faces of Photokina will also be a core theme for Epson during the show, where professional photographers will aim to take portrait photos of 1000 visitors to the Epson booth and display them as a gallery of images, which will be signed and stamped with Epson’s Digigraphie label.

Professional artist and photographer Gary Wornell, will run an on-stand workshop during the show, demonstrating some innovative printing techniques on a variety of substrates, including metal, all printed on Epson’s professional large format printers. He will also be showing some of his latest work, themed around endangered species.

Also on-stand will be the recently launched SureColor range,  developed for the graphic arts and signage market and which offers impressive print quality and output productivity, along with metallic ink.  While, for home use, the new Epson Expression range will also be on show, highlighting Epson’s ability to offer versatile text and photo printing for the consumer market.
