The Epson Red Sea 2010 marine photography competition will be held in Eilat, Israel, from 8-13 November. The sixth annual competition also plays host this year to fashion photographers. Confirmed fashion industry participants in the competition already include Swiss photographer Kurt Amsler (Rolex) and German Marc Hillesheim, who has worked with brands including Orsay. Stunning images from world’s largest marine photography competition
Competition dates - November 8 – 13, 2010
Friday, 5 November 2010: Epson Red Sea - the 2010 edition of the world’s largest marine photography competition - will be held in the beautiful Red Sea resort of Eilat, Israel, between Monday 8 and Saturday 13 November.
The sixth annual competition which regularly attracts internationally renowned marine film makers and photographers to compete for the $80,000 prize money, also plays host this year to fashion industry snappers.
Confirmed fashion industry participants in the competition already include Swiss photographer Kurt Amsler (Rolex) and German Marc Hillesheim, who has worked with brands including Orsay.
David Pilsof, producer of the Epson Red Sea event, said: “The Epson Red Sea event is becoming increasingly high profile and the calibre of marine and fashion photography entrants is incredible.”
Oren Fleisher, Epson Israel, added: “This competition challenges some of the world’s best photographers to capture the stunning colour, detail and atmosphere of the Red Sea’s marine life – a task that can be best achieved by those aware of and considerate towards their environment.
