SureLab D7 Studio makes UK debut at The Photography Show

26 February 2014 – Epson is expanding its commercial photo production range, with the introduction of the SureLab D7 Studio which will make its UK debut at The Photography Show (Stand L50, 1-4th March 2014, NEC). This scalable and flexible solution can be tailored to suit users’ needs, and used either on the shop floor as a self-service order terminal or as a production microlab behind-the-counter. The microlab features the new SureLab D700 printer and is available from June 2014.

The SureLab D7 Studio can produce premium quality prints, panoramics, folded displays and cards, on a wide range of media, including  paper-based matte, glossy and lustre media, and in a range of sizes (from 4 inches up to A4 wide and from 3.5- 39 inches long). It also supports a wide range of inputs, such as memory cards, USB, CD/DVD, Bluetooth, Facebook and smartphones/tablets, making it quick and easy to reproduce designs and photos in a creative way, with first class results.

The SureLab D7 Studio includes a self-service, touch screen order terminal and up to two printers. A further three extensions can be added, increasing the number of printers linked to the terminal, up to a total of eight. These can be used simultaneously, all controlled by the 22-inch multi-touch screen. Its LED light panel can be tailored to match customers’ store colour themes and its multi-touch panel can display digital advertising of the customers’ choice.

Drawing from Epson’s success in professional photo printing, crisp and vivid image quality is assured by its proven Micro PiezoTM printhead technology and UltraChrome D6-S ink. The SureLab D7 Studio has long service intervals, is low maintenance and has a long-lasting blade, which help to reduce downtime and save time and money.
