ExpressDigital Launches Award Winning Darkroom Software in the United Kingdom

ENGLEWOOD, CO and AUSTIN, TX–July 18, 2007 – ExpressDigital is expanding beyond North America with new operations in the UK. ExpressDigital’s UK launch focuses on its flagship product Darkroom. ExpressDigital Darkroom is the award-winning photography workflow software used by more than 26,000 professional photographers. The main photography segments that use Darkroom include event, sports, portrait, wedding and school photographers.
 
ExpressDigital launched its UK endeavor in London, England, with the first ExpressDigital Darkroom training held outside of North America. The regional training was sponsored by ExpressDigital’s new dealer Photomart, on of UK’s largest professional photographer suppliers http://www.photomart.co.uk/. A combination of current customers and potential customers attended the one-day training session. 
 
Two more training days will be held this summer with “Event Photography Training Days” hosted by Photomart. ExpressDigital is proud to announce the course instructors: Keith Trainor, named the 2005 Event Photographer of the Year as awarded by the Master Photographers Association and Bryan Osborne of ExpressDigital UK Sales. The one-day programs will cover event photography using ExpressDigital Darkroom software. Keith will share his success in all aspects of event photography from business tactics to shooting greenscreen with a digital workflow.

Bryan will introduce Darkroom and demonstrate the extensive features including how to capture, manage, enhance, proof, sell and print from the software.

A further expansion of ExpressDigital products will be seen in the UK in the coming year.

ExpressDigital plans to follow-up Darkroom’s introduction with UK PhotoReflect.com and connectivity to professional labs in the UK using the ExpressDigital Labtricity network. The UK Photoreflect.com service will allow photographers to create their own websites to post and sell photos 24/7. When UK PhotoReflect.com is launched, photographers will be able to get paid in their local currency (either the British Pound or Euro). Several UK labs are already in the process of joining the Labtricity network. UK photographers will soon be able to take advantage of ExpressDigital’s full line of photography inspired solutions.
