FinerWorks.com has announced “My Licensed Images”, a web-tool designed to increase earning potential for registered photographers and other artists. James Theopistos, graphic artist and owner of FinerWorks.com states, “I think that our members will be very pleased with this new feature because it will allow them to batch upload their images without forcing them to create a print or gift product in order to profit. It is a big time saver on one hand, but on the other, it actually increases their potential to profit, because it essentially increases their number of available products.” Though it is scheduled for release late this month, a beta version may become available within the next week. Registered members will be able to access “My Licensed Images” through their account management systems and will not be limited to the number of images they may display in their galleries.

FinerWorks.com Increases Profit Potential for Artists and Photographers

FinerWorks.com continues to improve earning capability for registered artists and photographers with their new web-tool, “My Licensed Images”.

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB)—FinerWorks.com (https://finerworks.com) is proud to announce “My Licensed Images”, a web-tool designed to increase earning potential for registered artists and photographers. With a release date scheduled for the end of this month, “My Licensed Images” will allow artists and photographers to sell the rights to their images specifically for the use of creating a FinerWorks.com print or gift products.

FinerWorks.com (https://finerworks.com), a successful online canvas and fine art printing company, got its start in the spring of 2001 by offering large format giclee prints to local artists and photographers at rock-bottom prices. The original idea behind FinerWorks.com was simply to keep costs as low as possible in order to increase the artists’ and photographers’ profit margins. And over the past 5 years, the company has also expanded its focus to help professionals and hobbyists sell their work.

James Theopistos, graphic artist and owner of FinerWorks.com states, “I think that our members will be very pleased with this new feature because it will allow them to batch upload their images without forcing them to create a print or gift product in order to profit. It is a big time saver on one hand, but on the other, it actually increases their potential to profit, because it essentially increases their number of available products.”

Once the license to a specific image is purchased, the buyer may order the image on either a print or a gift product of their choice. The buyer also will have full control over print sizes and media types. Gloria Meza, of FinerWorks.com explains, “This is a great alternative to guessing which sizes people prefer to purchase when they are shopping for art. Occasionally, artists and photographers who are just starting out will contact us to find out what sizes they should offer for their prints. With My Licensed Images, they don’t have to struggle over print sizes or even paper type. This is a big issue for emerging artists and photographers, because many of them are terrified of making a ‘bad’ decision.”

Though it is scheduled for release late this month, a beta version may become available within the next week. Registered members will be able to access “My Licensed Images” through their account management systems and will not be limited to the number of images they may display in their galleries. Noelle Hines, editor and marketing director for FinerWorks.com predicts, “I think we will begin to see a trend with image licensing. Not only is it simpler for the seller to set up, but it gives the buyer much more freedom as well. And at the same time, the artist or photographer doesn’t have to worry about how their images will be used because the buyer doesn’t actually buy the digital image file, they merely purchase the rights to have it used on a FinerWorks print or gift product.”

FinerWorks.com members can still take advantage of existing royalty programs for prints and gift products, but the more products that the artists and photographers of FinerWorks.com are able to offer, the higher their potential for sales will be.
