Focus on Imaging 2006Focus on Imaging Press Release

Focus on Imaging atmosphere is “fan bloody marvellous tastic”!

WITH well over 200 exhibitors, 40 more than the previous year, more stand space sold than ever before and a record 28,318 visitors, Focus on Imaging 2005 underlined the show’s status as Europe’s biggest and most important annual photographic and imaging industry exhibition.

Now show organiser Mary Walker is looking forward to Focus 2006, which takes place at the NEC between February 26th and March 1st. The floor plan is close to full, enquiries for stand space are still streaming in and there are confirmed bookings from American and New Zealand companies as well as from companies closer to home.

Focus gives visitors the chance to see, feel and try for themselves new products they have only heard about and check out a whole raft of other products being launched into the home market.

Throughout the four day show today’s technology will sit comfortably alongside tomorrow’s and the day after tomorrow’s.

Equipment for grabbing images and sending them instantaneously to the far corners of the world will be seen alongside single use film cameras, even build-it-yourself pinhole cameras.

Professional photographers will rub shoulders with High Street retailers, and major manufacturers will enjoy the opportunity to talk to end users about their products.

The high tech progress in image capture will be echoed by the high tech progress in image production with wide format printers, desk top and all in one designs, photo gifts and stunning digitally printed albums expected to attract attention aplenty.

And complementing the Focus Talks seminar programme, a sell out in 2005, will be stand-based presentations from exhibitors large and small, adding to an atmosphere which was described by one exhibitor in 2005 as “fan bloody marvellous tastic”.

Trade and professional visitors can pre-register free for the 2005 event via the website. Non-trade or professional visitors are also welcome. Admission on the door remains at £6.00.
