Fujifilm UK to Close its E6 Processing Lab

Fujifilm UK is to close its Leeds-based E6 slide processing facility next month. This ceasing of E6 processing operations was planned a year in advance to enable customers who have remaining rolls of Fujichrome Sensia process-paid film sufficient time to get them developed. Fujifilm's pre-paid processing vouchers are only valid up to the closing date of 1st November 2014. Note, however, that Leeds-based professional laboratory CC Imaging will carry on developing transparency films as normal, just not under the 'Fujifilm Processing Laboratory' brand.
Fujifilm Press Release
Fujifilm Processing Lab to close in November
Following Fujifilm UK's announcement last year, the manufacturer has confirmed it is to close its E6 processing facility next month (November 2014). The Fujifilm slide film processing facility is a partnership between Fujifilm UK and Leeds-based professional laboratory CC Imaging.
This ceasing of E6 processing operations was planned a year in advance to enable customers who have remaining rolls of Fujichrome Sensia process-paid film sufficient time to get them processed. Fujifilm's pre-paid processing vouchers are only valid up to the closing date of 1st November 2014.
CC Imaging will continue with its full range of existing lab facilities after the closure, including the E6 slide film processing line. Customers will still be able to have their transparency films processed as normal, just not under the 'Fujifilm Processing Laboratory' brand after 1st November 2014.
