Trained JPSS technicians will also handle all customer service enquiries, including responding to product questions, retail outlet information as well as dealing with any technical problems with the camera. GENERAL IMAGING ANNOUNCES BEST IN CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE
General Imaging Europe Ltd, the exclusive licensee to design, manufacture and distribute GE digital cameras in the UK has added to its ‘best in class’ cameras by providing ‘best in class’ integrated customer service.
General Imaging has joined forces with JP Service Solutions (JPSS), the technical service division of Johnsons Photopia Ltd, to ensure that all customers receive unrivalled after sales care. Trained JPSS technicians will also handle all customer service enquiries, including responding to product questions, retail outlet information as well as dealing with any technical problems with the camera.
General Imaging is determined that when choosing a GE digital camera customers are satisfied with the service from start to finish, especially in the unlikely event that there is a problem with the camera. By contacting a dedicated helpline or e-mail address, consumers will have direct access to technicians rather than faults being dealt with initially by retailers.
The process is very simple. If a consumer is having difficulty with a camera they call or e-mail the General Imaging helpline. Should the technician determine that there may be a fault; pre-paid packaging is immediately sent to the customer.
Once collected from the customer, the camera is given a comprehensive inspection and, if a genuine manufacturer’s fault is identified, a replacement will be sent out the same day. This means a customer could receive a camera within 72 hours of the initial contact with JPSS.
General Imaging believes this service to be the best in the industry and realises that professional after sales care is extremely important to consumers and retailers alike.
