Genius Loci Competition

Genius Loci is a new international Photographic Prize aimed at promoting emerging photographers of all nationalities based in Italy and the United Kingdom. There are no fees to enter the Genius Loci competition and the winner will be awarded a cheque for £1,000.

Accademia Apulia UK is proud to present Genius Loci, the international Photographic Prize aimed at promoting emerging photographers of all nationalities based in Italy and the United Kingdom. The prize aims to foster stronger cultural links between the two countries through the Arts.
A distinguished jury of their peers will select the photographers who best interpret and explore the relationship between the spirit of place and cultural diversity
Based upon these recommendations, the Jury will reconvene to evaluate the candidates’ folders and bestow the prize accordingly, on or about 16 November 2010.
The award ceremony is planned for Friday, 11 February 2011 at the Royal Horseguards, 1 Whitehall Place, London SW1, in the presence of the Jury and Committee of Accademia Apulia.
There are no fees to enter the competition.
The winner will be awarded a cheque for £ 1,000.00
