New Site Helps Photographers Take Better Pictures
Photo Synesi Connects Customers to Professional Photographers, Provides Individual Feedback
Pittsburgh (February 2, 2011) – Newly launched, www.photosynesi.com connects aspiring photographers with professional photographers to get personalized feedback on their images. Created by Synesi, the site provides access to veteran professional photographers.
Amateur photographers can receive individualized feedback on their images from renowned photographers. An elegant and efficient interface allows customers to select a professional reviewer and have their pictures critiqued. Likewise, professionals have a single place to review images and provide critical feedback on the work of students, and a new revenue stream.
“Globally, more people are taking more pictures. Yet, regularly getting the picture you want to take is still elusive,” said Synesi President, Derek Wahila. “We connect vetted, respected photographers to individuals who want to take better pictures. The Photo Synesi network of expert photographers are also skilled teachers, and bring their insight to casual and intermediate photographers around the world.”
The nationally recognized and respected reviewers cover a range of photography specialties, to name a few:
Putlizer Prize winning photojournalist Martha Rial,
Magnum photographer Eli Reed,
National Geographic Traveler Bob Krist,
Fine Art photographer Annu Palakunnathu Matthew of Sepia International Gallery,
Wildlife photographer Juan Pons,
Portrait photographer and Lighting Guru Bobbi Lane
“Our goal is to provide a site where photographers and photo enthusiasts can submit their own work and receive an in-depth assessment full of honest and actionable feedback,” said Wahila.
The service offers three levels of review, from an introductory quick review of ten images, to an extensive 100-image portfolio assessment. Customers can obtain multiple reviews from a single photographer, or instead choose to submit images to multiple professionals to find consistent strengths and weaknesses in their work. To make finding the right expert fast and easy, www.photosynesi.com recommends the reviewers best-suited to review the photos based on the photographer’s goals and interests for their project.
