New How-to Educational Library for Photoshop (H.E.L.P.) Unveiled by Scott Kelby at the Opening Ceremony of Photoshop World Conference, Las Vegas

How to Learn What Every Little Thing Adobe Photoshop Does in 60-second Videos

TAMPA, Fla.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Today, Scott Kelby, president of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and conference chair of Photoshop World Conference & Expo, unveiled the newest NAPP member benefit, H.E.L.P. (How-to Educational Library for Photoshop) during the opening keynote at the Photoshop World Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.

If you’ve ever wondered what a particular checkbox, tool, filter, or option was in Adobe® Photoshop®, NAPP set out to show you just that in short 60-second max videos (and yes, there are literally thousands of these short to-the-point videos). After input from thousands of Beta testers around the world, H.E.L.P. has been tweaked, updated, simplified, and expanded to make it truly an amazing resource for learning Adobe Photoshop.

“We wanted to create a single place where Photoshop users could get the answers they need, really fast, without having to do a lot of digging around or searching all over the Web,” said NAPP President and Co-founder, Scott Kelby. “By keeping everything to 60 seconds or less, you get just what you need in seconds. There’s never been anything like it, and its free for NAPP members,” he added.

Along with the groundbreaking H.E.L.P. system, NAPP launched a new project for people who are brand new to Photoshop, to help them get up to speed fast, with none other than 2009 NAPP Photoshop Hall of Fame inductee Dave Cross as their personal guide and trainer. Available on the NAPP member website.

NAPP also released a special custom designed set of Wacom tablet drivers pre-programmed for different Photoshop tasks like photo retouching, graphic design, color correction, and more for its members to use.

After these announcements, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Adobe Creative Solutions Business Unit, John Loiacono took the stage in Las Vegas to give the standing room only crowd at Photoshop World a sneak peek at future Adobe Photoshop technologies.
