Hahnemühle’s new Fine Art paper, Baryta FB, is a bright white inkjet photo paper with an extra smooth surface and glossy coating. The Baryta FB paper has allegedly been created at the request of traditionalist photographers who wanted something reminiscent of the traditional fiber based Baryta paper. This new Hahnemühle paper will be officially introduced at Photo Plus Expo in New York in late October. Meanwhile, Photo Rag® 460 gsm will be replaced by a Photo Rag® product with a base weight of 500 gsm, which will be available soon in the following formats: 24 x 30” and 35 x 46.75”, both as 25 sheet packages.

In the 425th year of its existence, Hahnemühle FineArt adds two stunning new products to the innovative market for inkjet papers.

Woodstock, IL September 03, 2009 The traditionalists among photographers will be delighted about the new Fine Art paper Baryta FB. It was created at their request and represents a perfect addition to Hahnemühle’s award-winning range of Baryta papers.

“With its name, structure and surface feel, the bright white paper with its extra smooth surface and glossy coating is reminiscent of the traditional fiber based Baryta paper,” explains Bärbel Manggold, Hahnemühle’s fine art paper product manager. “This comparison is made stronger with its high base weight of 350 gsm.” Baryta FB meets the highest standards when it comes to picture quality and durability. This new Hahnemühle paper will be officially introduced at Photo Plus Expo in New York in late October.

Meanwhile, Photo Rag® 460 gsm will be replaced by a Photo Rag® product with a base weight of 500 gsm. The structure and the surface of this new product have been optimized to match the qualities of the coveted ‘classic’ among the Matte FineArt papers: Photo Rag® 308 gsm. Photo Rag® 500 gsm will be available soon in the following formats: 24 x 30” and 35 x 46.75”, both as 25 sheet packages.
