Woodstock, IL February 06, 2009 In the Spring of 2009, Hahnemuhle FineArt will be introducing a new inkjet paper made largely from sugar cane fibers. This exciting new paper combines Hahnemuhle’s premium quality inkjet coating technology, with a beautiful paper substrate created from an ecologically friendly resource.

Hahnemuhle Sugar Cane 300gsm is made from 75% sugar cane (bagasse) fiber, which is a by-product of sugar cane processing and 25% recycled cotton fibers. Bagasse fiber is an eco-friendly resource endorsed by many environmental organizations worldwide.

Sugar Cane 300gsm is a natural white, textured, fine art paper that is OBA-free and extremely resistant to aging. It features a premium inkjet coating that ensures prints with rich contrast and detail - ideal for printing warm-tone color and monochrome photographs, as well as fine art reproductions.
