Hahnemuhle FineArt introduces New Certificate of Authenticity
Woodstock, IL June 23, 2008 Hahnemuhle has redesigned its Certificate of Authenticity for fine art professionals. The Hahnemuhle Certificate of Authenticity and Hologram System was designed to protect the security and genuineness of your limited edition art works and reproductions on Hahnemuhle paper and to reduce the risk of forgery.
Artists, photographers, print suppliers or gallery owners can guarantee the authenticity of their limited edition artworks and reproductions on Hahnemuhle paper. Many users attest to the increased value of a print provided with a Hahnemuhle Certificate of Authenticity.
Each certificate is made of premium deckled edge mould-made paper with a Hahnemuhle watermark and fluorescent security fibers. Each certificate is provided with a serialized number hologram. A second, identically numbered hologram can then be applied directly to the reverse side of the artwork. The combination of the certificate and hologram assures that each Certificate of Authenticity relates to one particular piece of art. Each box contains 25 certificates in A4 size and 50 holograms.
Text and layout of the certificate can be designed individually. Examples are provided on the Hahnemuhle website. Hahnemuhle also offers artists the opportunity to register their works on the international website www.myartregistry .com. The redesigned certificates are now available.
