Hahnemuhle CanvasHahnemuhle has announced the addition of two new canvas inkjet products to its Digital FineArt collection. Daguerre Canvas 400gsm is a specially coated artist canvas made of poly-cotton with a tactile surface texture which makes it perfect for fine art photo printing. Monet Canvas 410gsm is a genuine artist canvas made of 100% cotton with a special coating that is ideal for fine art printing. Both papers will be available by the end of March in 17”, 24”, 36”, 44” and 60” rolls, as well as A3 size 20 sheet boxes.

Woodstock, IL March 03, 2008 Hahnemuhle USA, North American distributors of high-quality digital art media from Hahnemuhle FineArt GmbH, recently announced the addition of canvas to its Digital FineArt collection. The addition of canvas will benefit both artists and photographers alike.

Hahnemuhle’s assortment of canvas for fine art inkjet printing offers a choice between cotton and poly-cotton canvas. The different structures and white points provide the best conditions to give an individual expression to any masterpiece. The Canvas FineArt line will consist of Daguerre Canvas and Monet Canvas.

Daguerre Canvas 400gsm is a specially coated artist canvas made of poly-cotton with a tactile surface texture which makes it perfect for fine art photo printing. Its bright-white color provides clear, fresh color and contrasts for black and white reproductions.

Monet Canvas 410gsm is a genuine artist canvas made of 100% cotton with a special coating that is ideal for fine art printing. Its white point is perfect for art reproduction, but also works well for high quality photo printing. This canvas offers detailed color and grey tones, as well as optimal depth to your print.

When the canvas was previewed at PMA 2008 in Las Vegas, the response from those who saw the samples was overwhelmingly positive! The good news is that both Daguerre Canvas 400gsm and Monet Canvas 410gsm should be on store shelves by the end of March. It will come in 17”, 24”, 36”, 44” and 60” rolls, as well as A3 size 20 sheet boxes, packaged in a new white box.
