Hama SDHC Card ReaderHama Press Release

The name says it all: Hama’s two new card readers from the 1000 & 1 series are real jacks of all trades – they read from and write to all standard memory card types. There is even a separate slot for various mini and micro cards, allowing them to be used without additional adapters. Currently, two card versions are available. They can be adapted for new card types and capacities easily at any time via the Hama internet page. Both readers support the brand-new SDHC 4 GB cards.

The 55311 model (TravelDrive Mobile 1000 & 1), designed as a USB stick, is particularly suitable for memory cards for PDAs and mobile phones. Also, its compact form makes it ideal for use on the go.

By contrast, the wired 55350 model (CardReaderWriter 1000 & 1) has an additional CF slot, allowing it to support CF I and CF II cards, Microdrives and Magicstore.

Both readers support the brand-new SDHC 4 GB cards and the extremely high data transfer rate of 20 MB per second, which really implements the advantages of high-speed cards. The two new card readers include the full software versions of the Hama Digital Software Suite for managing and processing photos on PCs, PC INSPECTOR Smart Recovery to rescue lost data and the IrfanView image viewer.
