Hama Solar Chargers

Hama has announced two solar chargers for digital cameras and other devices. Both chargers are small, handy and light. They are easy to transport and come with an integrated battery. These chargers are charged using solar cells and then serve as “filling stations” for your end devices. Both models come with a USB cable and mini-USB adapter for connecting to digital cameras. The new solar chargers will be on display in Hall 7.2c at the IFA show in Berlin.

Solar Energy When You Need It
No plug, no power? No way! These two new Hama chargers use solar energy to charge the batteries in your mobile phone, MP3 player and other devices with no need to plug into mains power.
The idea behind these new products is as simple as it is persuasive. Both chargers are small, handy and light. They are easy to transport and come with an integrated battery. These chargers are charged using solar cells and then serve as filling stations for your end devices. At night or in a dark office building, the USB connection provides a somewhat less ecological but extremely practical charging alternative. If the battery is full, it has enough power to fully charge your mobile phone or offer you around 10 hours of music playback from your MP3 player.
And these two solar chargers both look different and have different technical features. The “Classic” model can be snapped together like a fan and, unlike the flat “H 1000” model, is equipped with an exchangeable battery and includes adapters for iPod, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung LG, Motorola, Blackberry, Garmin and iRiver. The “H 1000” includes adapters for iPod, Nokia N-Series, Motorola, Blackberry, Garmin and iRiver. Both models come with a USB cable and mini-USB adapter for connecting digital cameras.
