Hama USB and Bluetooth HubHama Press Release

As far as electronic connectivity in the office is concerned, today almost anything is possible. PCs with scanners, cameras with notebooks, and even mobile phones with printers. At this year’s CeBIT trade fair Hama will present a three-way USB 2.0 hub with an integrated 1.2 Bluetooth dongle. Up to three USB and several Bluetooth-capable devices can be quickly and simply connected with a computer.

Once connected, the pictures from the mobile phone camera can be sent to the PC, for instance, and then forwarded on to the printer to be printed for the picture album.

If a Bluetooth dongle or a Bluetooth-capable notebook is linked up, then wireless data exchange is possible directly between two computers, for distances of up to 40 metres in fact, thanks to the hub’s Class 2 standard. The required energy is provided by the PC’s USB port.
