HARMAN FILLS THE GAP FOR 3800 A2+ DEMAND

*Size matters for Epson 3800 users

HARMAN technology has once again demonstrated its committed reactivity to the professional imaging industry by quickly launching an A2+ format for its pioneering range of HARMAN PHOTO photographic inkjet media. The new sheet size has been specifically developed for users of the new Epson 3800 printer, which has the capacity to print oversized A2 images.

Howard Hopwood, marketing director at HARMAN technology commented: “The launch of the new A2+ format for all of our HARMAN PHOTO products will provide Epson 3800 users with the first and only bespoke sheet size that will help to unlock the potential of the printer.”

“We appreciate that producing a product for one printer, regardless of its popularity, is catering to a niche market – but our commitment is to photographers, and we believe that this new sheet size will welcomed by photographers using the 3800, helping them to produce the best possible prints.”

In order to help photographers to create the best quality images using the new sheet size, HARMAN has also provided a free downloadable printer profile for the 3800, available through its inkjet website at www.harman-inkjet.com. The website will also contain detailed printing instructions, as the paper is a bespoke size developed specifically for the 3800 printer, measuring 17” x 25”.

The firm’s philosophy of catering to the needs of professional photographers has characterised every stage of the HARMAN PHOTO roll-out, and the launch of the first gloss product in the range has also been brought forward due to demand highlighted in HARMAN’s regular communication with the photographic community.

Howard Hopwood continued: “The HARMAN PHOTO range exists because, as imaging specialists, we were frustrated with the existing inkjet solutions available – just as we believe the world’s photographers were. This frustration was not simply born from the quality of the products in the marketplace, but also their lack of reactivity to the changing demands of photographers.”

“HARMAN PHOTO is a range that we feel offers unparalleled quality, and we will continue to offer new products with different finishes, sizes and properties to cater for the dynamic needs of our users and ensure that quality is matched with versatility.”

The A2+ sheets are will be available from HARMAN stockists throughout the UK from July, and all the HARMAN PHOTO products are also available through HARMAN’s Direct2Dealer scheme by calling freephone 0800 234 6484.
