Heathrow Express Launches Photo Contest

Heathrow Express has launched a competition to find the best family holiday photograph. The company has teamed up with Luxury Family Hotels to give away a weekend away in the UK to the carefully chosen winner and his/her family. To enter all participants have to do is submit one of their holiday photographs along with a title, their name and telephone number and some details on where and when the picture was taken. Photographs must be submitted to [email protected] by 30th September at 11:59pm. The competition is open to participants worldwide, aged 18 or over on the closing date.

What makes a good family photo?
Heathrow Express, the fastest way to travel between central London and Heathrow Airport, has launched a competition to find the best family holiday photograph.
Heathrow Express Managing Director Richard Robinson, said: “Over the past 12 years we have become a well established premium leisure brand as well as a firm favourite with the business community. We recognise that our customers’ experience on the Heathrow Express is usually at the beginning or the end of a trip but we are interested to learn more about our customers’ total journey and what they enjoy whilst on holiday.”
To enter all participants have to do is submit one of their holiday photographs along with a title and some details on where and when the picture was taken to be in with a chance of winning a luxury weekend away.

Terms and conditions:
1. Photographs must be submitted by September 30th at 11:59pm.
2. The winner will be contacted via email or telephone on October 12th 2010 and will be asked to choose a Luxury Family Hotel to stay at from the following locations: Worcestershire, Bath, Cornwall, Dorset and Suffolk.
3. The prize is for 2 night’s weekend accommodation for a family of four.
4. The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
5. This competition is open to participants worldwide, aged 18 or over on the closing date.
6. There is no entry fee.
7. You must be the photographer and owner of the copyright for any image entered.
8. Entrants can submit a maximum of three images to this contest.
9. Please keep digital manipulation such as cloning and compositing to a minimum; your photograph should faithfully represent the scene as you saw it. HDR and stitched images are allowed.
10. Submitted images should be a minimum of 1024 pixels along the long edge.
11. Images must not include a watermark or border.
12. You will retain copyright of your entries at all times and will always be credited alongside your picture.
13. Photographers will always be credited alongside their image.
14. Under no-circumstance will we use submitted images for commercial gain unless it has been agreed on a case by case basis with the photographer.
15. By entering this competition, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your photograph in connection with this contest. This may include syndication of the photographs by the media (but only in connection with this contest). Winners will always be informed if their photographs are syndicated and will always be credited next to their image.
16. Under no-circumstance will we use submitted images for commercial gain unless it has been agreed on a case by case basis with the photographer.
