Photos can be printed by the 3310 and 3210 in just 14 seconds thanks to a newly designed wider printhead with 3,900 nozzles. Both the HP Photosmart 3210 and HP Photosmart 3310 can scan photos at up to 4800 x 4800 dpi resolution. The HP 3210 offers a 6.4 cm colour LCD screen, whilst the HP 3310 has an even bigger 9.1 cm screen. Both products offer built-in networking, whilst the 3310 also features full wireless connectivity. HP Launches the HP Photosmart 3210 and 3310 All-in-Ones with Ground Breaking Photo Printing Speeds - Professional photo lab quality with versatility

HP today announced the launch of the HP Photosmart 3210 and HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-Ones with remarkably increased photo printing speeds.  Featuring breakthrough ink printing technology and six individual HP 363 Ink Cartridges with HP Vivera Inks, these all-in-ones are the perfect solution for users who need to quickly print, or copy large quantities of high quality photos or documents.

Both the HP Photosmart 3210 and 3310 All-in-Ones boast a newly designed printing system, which delivers print speeds of up to 14 seconds per photo up to 32 pages per minute (ppm) in black and white and up to 31 ppm in colour. These breakthrough speeds are generated by a newly designed wider printhead with 3,900 nozzles that deliver up to 140 million drops of ink per second, more than ever before.

The HP Photosmart 3210 and 3310 All-in-Ones both feature unique recirculation ink technology which minimises the need for priming – and therefore any associated wastage.  Consisting of HP’s proprietary in-printer pump, air vent, ink reservoir and ink sensor, this system ensures all available ink is used for printing and copying rather than for the maintenance usually required by alternative individual ink systems.

In addition to speed and efficiency, these all-in-ones also deliver outstanding quality. The six HP 363 Individual Ink Cartridges contain newly designed dye-based HP Vivera Inks, offering excellent print quality.  Thanks to this new ink platform, users can quickly print or copy a variety of documents from black and white text, to six ink colour photos, without having to interchange cartridges. For those users wanting to print or copy a large number of documents, a higher volume dye-based black ink cartridge is also available, the HP 363 Large Black Ink Cartridge.

The scanning quality of these all-in-ones is equally impressive. With room for multiple photos on the scanner glass, users can scan photos at up to 4800 x 4800 dpi resolution.  Those users wanting to store, print or share old images, can place up to four slides or six negatives in the built-in transparent materials adapter (TMA).

Those restricted by time, can also print images either directly from their PictBridg-enabled digital camera or from memory cards. Via the optional HP Bluetooth Wireless Printer Adaptor, users can also print photos from mobile phones, PDAs or other Bluetooth-enabled products – all without a PC.  Additionally, users can easily copy and save photos from a memory card to a USB stick by simply connecting it to the dedicated port at the front of the device.

With a number of HP’s Real Life technologies, it’s simple for users to enhance the quality of their favourite photos.  Photography enthusiasts can achieve visibly better results with the Automatic Red-Eye Removal function, which allows users to perfect any unnatural blemishes in their images. HP’s Adaptive Lighting technology gives users the option to adjust the brightness of even the most poorly lit images, bringing clarity to otherwise dull and lifeless photos.

With both products, users can also preview, edit and print photos without a PC using the model’s large colour displays and on-board controls. Creative users can also watch their digital videos on the 6.4 cm colour display screen of the HP Photosmart 3210 All-in-One. For the ultimate experience, users with the larger 9.1 cm screen of the HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One can also enjoy watching their videos with sound.

With built-in networking, the HP Photosmart 3210 and 3310 All-in-Ones are ideal for the home office environment. Multiple users can complete a variety of tasks including scanning a job as well as sending something to print at the same time – avoiding the need to queue.

For complete ease, the new HP Photo Paper is specifically designed to work with these all-in-ones.  HP Auto Sense technology reads the barcode on the paper’s reverse side and automatically selects the required paper setting, without the need for any user intervention. This paper is available in different sizes including 10 x 15 cm and A4. For enhanced creativity and control, users can print with or without borders in any customised size up to large panorama (215 x 610 mm).

HP’s Smart Printing technology is designed to make printing even easier. Programmed to send an on-screen alert when the printer’s ink reservoir is low, users will never run out of ink in the middle of a print job.  When shopping in-store or online, the HP 363 Ink Cartridges are easy to identify, as they all feature the same product number, supported by easily identifiable colour and symbol labeling and are packaged in clear plastic.

Equipped with a colour and black and white fax, the HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One has 75 one touch memory speeds dials, a junk fax barrier and caller ID.  These features mean users no longer need to remember important, regularly used numbers or worry about receiving unwelcome faxes.

For added convenience, the HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One has a number of one-touch buttons, including a fax command. These buttons can be used in conjunction with the printer’s 9.1 cm colour image display screen.

Note: To ensure that the printhead electronics located within the printer can be thoroughly tested for optimal quality & reliability before leaving production and are not damaged during transportation a diluted fluid that protects the printhead is in the printer’s system. As a result HP has created host ink cartridges, which come with the printer, but are not available to buy.

These specially formulated ink cartridges are made up of higher density inks which when installed in the printer for the first time ensure a mixing process is initiated with the diluted liquid ink. This process guarantees that the printhead remains in top condition while still providing users with high quality prints. Host ink cartridges have a different ink fill level to retail (trade) cartridges, due to the mixing activity of the two inks. Once host ink cartridges are depleted, users only ever need to purchase the HP 363 ink cartridges compatible with this printer.
