IDimager V5.1 has been released
With the release of this version, our goal was to improve the overall speed of the application. And did we succeed? We most certainly did: the Label Assignment Panel for instance is 500% faster! Importing and synchronizing images has become twice as fast. Further noticable speed improvements have been made on the assignment of ratings, color labels, bookmarks, on macro parsing and in the Downloader. In other words, the overall feel of IDimager is now snappier than ever.
Besides focusing on speed, V5.1 also contains some additions, improvements and bug fixes.
Additions:
- in the Transfer dialog you can now specify if tags should be generated from Catalog Labels or not (only for Transfer to photo hosting websites)
- added support for the MOS (Leaf) RAW format
- added the possibility to use the CreativeCommons-online interface (requires a connection with the Internet)
Improvements:
- you can now use Lightroom(tm) keywords without having to use delimited keywords
- you can now instantly open a catalog label from the Label Assignment Panel
- you can now right click on a catalog label and then merge or relocate the catalog label
- the color of the captions in the Image Detail panel is a tint off compared to the values. This gives a better reading experience
- the Sepia editing effect is improved
- Label Sets in the Catalog Explorer’s Stored Group branch are now expandable
- when clicking the orange dot icon for the “Catalog Labels” branch now shows *all* images in catalog instead of all labeled images
- uploading with FTP is implemented as a background service
- and more…
