IGPOTY Finalists Announced

The finalists of the fourth International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) competition have been announced. All of the photographs have been reviewed over a 10 week period by some of the leading garden photographers in the world, as well as representatives of Kew Gardens, the National Trust and the Royal Photographic Society. The winners will be announced on 3 May 2011. The finalists can be viewed at the website below.

INTERNATIONAL GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR FOURTH COMPETITION FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

The finalists of the fourth International Garden Photographer of the Year competition have been announced and can be viewed online at

All of the photographs have been reviewed over a 10 week period by some of the leading garden photographers in the world, as well as representatives of Kew Gardens, the National Trust and the Royal Photographic Society. The winners will be announced on the 3rd May 2011. The outdoor exhibition of winning and finalist images will launch at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew on the 14th May 2011, before touring to venues across the UK.

The call for entries for the fifth annual International Garden Photographer of the Year competition begins today. The competition opens up with the first of our 4Seasons categories - ‘Monochrome’ - a theme directly aimed at the creative use of black and white and other monochrome techniques - toning and the like. The deadline for this theme is March 31st - so start thinking about your entries!
