Inkjet Photo Papers You Should Try
The MSN Photos portal has an interesting article by Peter K. Burian about the many different kinds of inkjet papers available on the market. If you’ve never used anything other than your printer manufacturer’s recommended paper, read this article and maybe broaden your horizons a little…
“Inkjet photo printers accept a wide variety of papers (media), but most people tend to use only a few common types. That’s due in part to electronics retail stores stocking only the typical papers: “photo,” matte, and glossy, and also in part to not knowing what other types of papers work for different images. Shop around on the Web, and you can find specialty papers with really cool finishes: watercolor, canvas, silk, polyester, metallic, and various textured “art” papers. Each will impart an entirely different look to your images, great for enhancing your artistic work, or for making prints to frame.”
