Innova Art at Photokina 2010: Astounding adventures in image-making

Innova Art, award-winning manufacturer of some of the world’s most innovative digital media and imaging products, will offer truly astounding adventures in image-making on its stand C31, Hall 6.1, at this year’s Photokina, Cologne, Germany.

Highlights on the Innova Art stand include:

An exhibition of Josh Cole’s ‘Physical Graffiti’ portfolio – scintillating images of “parkour” runners showing off their heart-pumping, acrobatic skills, brilliantly captured on Innova Art, award winning FibaPrint white semi-matte - IFA29, and Décor Smooth Art DS – IFA25 for his portfolio work.

“I’ve only recently ventured into digital printing - I was always very against inkjet. But the results on the Innova media I’m using, especially the FibaPrint Semi Matte, have been just amazing and, if anything, have the edge over the traditionally printed prints I’ve done in the past. I’m really impressed by the quality and detail of my prints.” Josh Cole – www.joshcole.co.uk

The unique Jetmaster Display System – a unique, low-cost kit that transforms a great shot into a stunning, lightweight gallery wrap in minutes. New A3+ size now available. Demonstrations will be running on the stand throughout the fair and visitors will be encouraged to try it for themselves.

“An innovative method of reliably and economically producing ‘Gallery wrap’ canvas prints. These prints actually look rather good. I have one of my own images conventionally box framed, on the wall in the kitchen - I put a JetMaster next to it and you can’t tell the difference. Very easy to assemble, with no adhesives or extra mounting accessories needed.” Keith Cooper – www.northlight-images.co.uk

The new Décor Art ES papers – enable stunning image resolution and colour rendition from the new generation of low-cost, eco-solvent printers.  The Décor Art ES 260gsm and Décor Velvet ES 300gsm papers are compatible with all eco-solvent machines, including Epson, Mimaki, Mutoh and Roland.

Flagship of Innova’s Inkjet Canvas range, IFA-36 Photo Canvas Ultra Gloss, hailed as “the king of the gloss canvases by Professional Imagemaker magazine. “Nothing we have tested to date gets even close.”

New additions to the range include 3 high white matte variants:

IFA-32, a 280gsm matte canvas designed for the Décor market; IFA-37, a 380gsm matte polycotton canvas and IFA-38 a 430gsm heavy textured, 100% cotton canvas both aimed at the Fine Art reproduction market.

The new “intelligent print system” software package: a production tool to suit every size of studio – easy to use, saving time and money. The Innova Art branded “intelligent print system” is suitable for Mac and PC users and is available from £200 to £800. This is a cost effective solution with sophisticated facilities eg nesting, within the software. It enables the user to access pre-installed Innova ICC profiles and profiles of major printer manufacturers such as Canon, Epson and HP. Also installed are the JetMaster Display templates with comprehensive image optimising tools.

Innova Art will also feature in the “See me, feel me, print me”exhibition in Hall 2.2, which will be showcasing various inkjet paper manufacturers papers. www.photokina-cologne.com/exhibitors/special_events_sponsoring.php#03
