Following on from their highly successful exhibition Landscape Beyond at the OXO Gallery in 2008, David Ward and Anna Booth have again joined forces for an exhibition of new work, entitled Intimations. The exhibition runs over the Easter period at the gallery@oxo on London’s South Bank.

Accolades for the 2008 show included:

  * Really stunning beautiful photos. Gorgeous. A fresh perspective.
  * Beautiful up-close and vibrant slices of often unseen life.
  * Beautiful light and depth; shockingly clear images of the unclear landscapes we live in.
  * Utterly incredible. I feel inspired.
  * They are an exquisite art form. We all ought to have one and learn the stillness and beauty of small things every day.
  * Totally inspiring in their intelligence and technical execution
  * A stunning series of images. Sublime.

This new collection of work from David and Anna has been entitled Intimations. The title reflects the artists’ belief that abstract images have the power to transcend mere description, the power to allude to objects and places beyond the frame and the ability to evoke emotional responses in the viewer. The work shown depicts the world at an intimate level and intimates a world beyond the frame.

Both David and Anna have produced portfolio books to accompany the exhibition and these will be on sale at the gallery@oxo together with prints from the exhibition.
