JAlbum Press Release

JAlbum 7.4 released today
This time we have focused on usability and for the users to share their albums easier by e-mail and on our site.
- User interface redesigned to be more workflow-logical. These changes have been performed after analyzing user behaviour on a test group. We strongly believe this change will help a lot of new users to get a long with the UI resulting in a lot more published albums.
- Password protecting albums hosted on myjalbum.net. This has been one of the most requested features.
- Windows Vista support
- New sharing function: JAlbum can now help users telling about their new albums after publishing them via email and web

New featured albums browsing
Jalbum.net has been lacking visual ways of sharing published albums.
Our new browse album page is the first step in enabling our users to share their albums on our site. See the page by clicking on a featured album thumbnail on: http://jalbum.net

JAlbum introduces Bagsnatcher
We’re devoted to improving JAlbum and keeping it free. Instead of charging for JAlbum we have ads on our site and partnerships with photo related companies that we believe in. Bagsnatcher is such a new partner. The stuff they do is really way beyond the expectations we initially had. They print your images on a variety of fabric products (bags, pillows, iPod cases etc). However, it’s not that plastic or shady print that cracks when you stretch the fabric. Instead the image is dyed into the fibres of the fabric by a process called sublimination. The products are then sewed afterwards. The process is more time-consuming than methods that print images on finished products, but it provides much higher quality and durability and the images can stretch to the very edges of the products. It’s all at: http://jalbum.bagsnatcher.com/ (Please note: so far Bagsnatcher only ships to Europe)
