Jobs for Europe – Europe for jobs
The Group of the Party of European Socialists (PES Group) in the Committee of the Regions (CoR) has launched a photo competition. Jobs for Europe – Europe for Jobs invites amateur photographers to capture in a photo the diversity of job realities and job aspirations in Europe. The competition runs until 30 June 2014 and is open to European residents aged 18 and older. The first prize is photographic equipment worth €2000 plus a three-day trip to Brussels The winners will be announced in October 2014.

"Jobs for Europe – Europe for jobs": Photo competition

First prize: €2000 of photographic equipment and a three days trip to Brussels The Socialist Group (PES) in the Committee of the Regions (CoR) is launching the seventh edition of its annual photo competition, giving a chance to emerging talents to express themselves on key European issues.
"Jobs for Europe – Europe for Jobs" invites amateur photographers to capture in a photo the diversity of job realities and job aspirations in Europe. In order to provide participants with ideas on what to focus on, you will find an "inspirational cloud" on the website of the initiative
The competition runs until 30 June 2014 and is open to European residents aged 18 and older.
The three best photos will be selected by a jury, composed of members of the PES Group in the CoR – representing local and regional authorities across the EU - and professionals from the world of photography. In addition, the public will be able to select a fourth winner via an online vote on the PES Group Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pesgroupcor) in September.
Winners will be announced in October 2014 at an award ceremony in Brussels.
