Joby has released its Pro Series ‘UltraPlate’ as a standalone accessory. Providing photographers with a universal quick-release plate which enables them to mount their camera to any tripod, plus attach an additional camera strap, the Joby Pro Series ‘UltraPlate’ has two additional 1/4"-20 screw mounts, and allows access to the battery compartment on your DSLR camera. This means that you can enjoy one universal plate to which you can attach other styles of tripod plate and camera strap at the same time – enabling you to use both, without the need to ever remove either. The new JOBY Pro Series UltraPlate is priced at £18 and will be available to purchase from early Autumn.

Joby has released its innovative Pro Series ‘UltraPlate’ as a stand alone accessory – allowing photographers a universal quick-release plate which enables them to mount their camera to any tripod, plus attach an additional camera strap (for example a Joby UltraFit Sling shoulder strap) all while still giving access to the battery compartment on the DSLR.

Unlike most baseplates on the market, the UltraPlate has TWO additional 1/4"-20 screw mounts. The plate is also compatible with all major tripod brands featuring the standard 1/4” mount i.e. Giotto’s tripods.

• Simply attach the Joby Ultraplate to the camera
• Then attach camera strap e.g. Joby UltraFit Sling
• Option to attach further tripod plate for full compatibility with just about any tripod brand
