Kodak have just introduced two new cameras - the Astro Zoom AZ1000, which has a 102x optical zoom lens, and the rugged WPZ2.

The Kodak AZ1000 will be available in Fall 2019 in Europe priced at €549, while the Kodak WPZ2 will cost €149.

JK Imaging Ltd., the worldwide licensee of KODAK PIXPRO Digital Cameras and Devices announced today the company is showcasing two of the company’s new 2019/2020 models, expanding on the award winning mega-zoom, bridge category and introducing an all new rugged and waterproof model for adventurers of all ages who take photos and videos in the great outdoors.

The KODAK PIXPRO AZ1000 is the newest and most advanced mega-zoom model to join the already successful line up within the KODAK PIXPRO Astro Zoom family. The AZ1000 is equipped with an astounding 102x optical zoom lens, 20MP BSI CMOS sensor, 19.5mm wide-angle lens and 4K Ultra HD video. Built-in WIFI to connect to the complimentary PIXPRO Remote Viewer App (for iOS and ANDROID smart devices) which allows photographers to remotely control the camera as well as upload photos and videos to social media and computers without being connected via cable. The ability to save both JPEG and RAW file formats are just a few of the features that make the AZ1000 even more attractive to photographers of all levels and skill. The AZ1000 will be available in Fall 2019 in Europe at a EU MSRP of €549.

The WPZ2 is equipped with a 4X optical zoom, which goes well beyond most other waterproof cameras that are fixed focus only. Its rugged design is also resistant to dust, shock and freezing and can be fully submerged up to 15m. This is the flexible photography companion for travel, sports and many other activities and will be priced at an affordable EU MSRP of €149.
