Whether you’re looking for creative inspiration, the tranquillity of the Welsh coast, or an epic adventure further afield, Light & Land - the UK’s leading photographic tour company – has just a few last minute places up for grabs on three of their Autumn workshops:
Need a little help Finding Your Vision? Or simply looking for some inspiration and creative stimulation? Then why not join David Ward and Eddie Ephraums in the stunning Yorkshire Dales for the Finding Your Vision, exclusive Leading Lights workshop.
This Leading Lights workshop is designed to enhance and develop your vision through the creation, editing and discussion around a series of your own images. The workshop gives participants the chance to work with accomplished photographers Eddie Ephraums and David Ward, who are also two of the UK’s best-known photographic ‘thinkers’. Shoots will take place within a short distance of our base at Malham, in the Yorkshire Dales.
Leading Lights workshops are limited to just five photographers per tutor – ensuring you get more one to one time with tutors, maximising opportunity to learn and develop your own photographic skills.
Dates: 13-18 September 2009
Or, if you fancy getting away from it all after the bustle of the summer holidays, then why not join Nick Jenkins for an escape to the tranquil Gower Peninsular, south Wales.
Photographic opportunities abound here, from close up and detailed shots of the shoreline to huge panoramas with big skies - the expansive cliff top views mean that sunsets here are often spectacular. Because the photography starts almost outside the door of the hotel you will be able to maximise the opportunities in the time available without the need to travel to locations elsewhere.
Dates: 11-14 October 2009
Or, if its castles and coastline you fancy, then head up to the stunning area of Argyll with David Ward and Richard Childs. Larger than the Lake District, Peak District, Snowdonia, Dartmoor and New Forest National Parks combined - and with a coastline longer than that of France - this vast area provides landscapes from high mountains to sandy shores and everything in between. In November, with autumn colour near its peak there will be no shortage of locations to visit. We will rarely be more than half an hour’s drive from the coast which, facing both East and West on Argyll’s many peninsulas will give plenty of opportunity to photograph both sunrise and sunset in this magnificent part of Scotland.
Dates: 16-20 November 2009
