The Photography Show is pleased to announce that two major brands, absent from the 2014 event, will be exhibiting at the 2015 show - Leica and Ricoh Imaging have joined the already impressive line-up.

Leica are one of the most innovative and premium brands in the history of photography. Celebrating their 100th anniversary this year, they are credited with inventing the small format 35mm camera, which revolutionised not only the world of photography, but also the way the world’s history has been documented. This will be the first time Leica have exhibited in the UK for almost ten years.

David Bell, Managing Director of Leica Camera Limited, says, “Selection for the 2015 show was made on the basis of the 2014 show evidence and exhibitor feedback. Fresh and alive, the 2014 show attracted new visitors and exhibitors as well as the important seasoned photographic community. This at a time when the industry is facing many challenges was good to see.

“2015 show visitors can expect to see the latest key products from Leica. It is likely that Leica will concentrate on specific products at the show, enabling as many show visitors as possible to experience close up Leica quality and innovation.”

Ricoh Imaging is a leader in digital cameras and imaging technologies including weather-resistant digital SLRs, expert and outdoor compact cameras, as well as lenses and flash units.

Jonathan Martin, General Manager, Ricoh Imaging UK Ltd, says, “We are delighted to be attending The Photography Show.  We look forward to meeting consumers and showcasing our range of superb weather-proof DSLRs and associated lenses and accessories.  Our award winning medium format camera system will also be on show.  See us on Stand No. C111.”

The Photography Show can also announce its attendance for the 2014 exhibition as 30,003*. Officially audited by BPA Worldwide, the global industry resource for verified audience data.

Jonny Sullens, Head of Events, Future plc, says, “We are absolutely delighted that the first year of The Photography Show has been an astounding success as this audited number shows.

“We are already heavily into the organisation of 2015’s show. We are returning to the Birmingham NEC, in Hall 5, giving us almost 10,000m2 of extra exhibition space expanding it to 24,870m2. It’s fantastic to have Leica and Ricoh Imaging on board for 2015, and the extra space allows returning exhibitors the opportunity to extend their stand space, which many already have. It has also allowed us to give a greater consumer experience with the addition of things like The Food Village.”

The Photography Show 2015 will be from 21st – 24th March 2015,
