Leica have released a firmware update, version 1.2, for the Leica Digital-Modul-R digital back.

The following technical features are optimized by the Firmware Release 1.2:
- Improved image reproduction on the display
- Improved color reproduction in the images
- Compatibility for 4GB SD cards
- Compatibility for MAC OS version 10.3
- Improved Japanese menu language
- Bug for saving of settings eliminated (ISO Push)
- Optimizing of internal data processing

Advice: Due to the compatibility the data format on the SD cards has been changed. Therefore the SD card has be to formated after update.
