LetsGoDigital goes Asia with Turkish edition : AMSTERDAM, August 4th 2005 : LetsGoDigital, known as the multilingual online magazine about digital imaging, is proud to announce a Turkish edition of its website. Within one year after launching the successful French edition LetsGoDigital again expands its publicity capacity by reaching out to millions of Turkish readers spread all over the world. The Turkish speaking readers and Turkish natives will now be able to get the latest digital imaging on at www.letsgodigital.com.tr. According to Dennis Hissink, LetsGoDigital’s editor: “We are opening the gateway to Asia by welcoming Turkey and will reach an important market of a large group of Turkish consumers.”

LetsGoDigital - Ilhan Engin
Ilhan Engin, editor of LetsGoDigital Turkey: “Turkey has a population of more than 70 million people, most of them dynamic young ones who follow the technology closely. The number of Turks all over the world is almost the same as USA’s population. However, there are not enough resources of information in the Turkish language. With the Turkish edition, providing up-to-date digital imaging news, we aim to reach a large amount of people and share our international vision of LetsGoDigital and the years of professional experience in the area of digital imaging.”

Hardware - Adding an extra server
Besides expanding the online magazine, LetsGoDigital also invested in a new dual XEON processor server with 4GB of memory and RAID10 configuration to be added to the range of servers. The ‘LetsGoDigital server park’ is stationed in Amsterdam, TeleCity and is integrated in the most modern facilities. In the upcoming days LetsGoDigital will integrate the new hardware in order to handle the data requests which amount still increases daily. At the same time a new high level caching system will replace the existing one which in the end also improves the speed.
