Soon-to-be-introduced Kodak products will include new mobile microSD and microSDHC memory cards, the leading form factor for use with mobile devices, as well as new Kodak USB Flash drives and higher-capacity SD cards. These new products represent some of the first fruits of a recently announced five-year extension to the existing, long-standing agreement between Lexar and the Eastman Kodak Company, which now allows for expanded distribution and a broader portfolio of Kodak-branded flash memory product lines created by Lexar. New KODAK microSD and microSDHC Mobile Memory Cards
New KODAK microSD Mobile Memory Cards will be available in 1GB and 2GB capacities, and include free adapters for use in both miniSD and SD products, while the new high-capacity KODAK microSDHC Mobile Memory Card will be available in a 4GB capacity, and includes a free adapter for use with SDHC devices. According to Gartner Research, microSD cards are forecasted to grow more than any other major form factor, and the new KODAK microSD and microSDHC Mobile Memory Cards are designed to address the increasing storage needs of today’s feature-rich mobile devices.
