Lexmark International today introduced the Lexmark X7170 All-in-One featuring exclusive Productivity Suite Software - the latest addition to the company’s line of Small & Medium Business (SMB) products. Designed to make life easier for busy SMB professionals, the X7170 can dramatically cut administrative time, helping businesses be more productive.

Lexmark’s new X7170 All-in-One offers small business owners a one-stop shop for easily faxing, scanning, printing and copying documents, and with the new Lexmark Productivity Suite Software, an easy-to-use method to move information between the paper and digital worlds.

Exclusive Productivity Suite Software
Integrated within the X7170, the Lexmark Productivity Suite Software meets these needs via an intuitive user interface. Users can:
- Create multiple page portable document files (PDFs), from a variety of formats, into a single document for storage and distribution;
- Convert hard copy pages into text files that can be edited and scanned-to-email via Lexmark Optical Character Recognition (OCR) programme;
- Utilise thumbnail images and drag-and-drop functionality to print, fax, email, convert to another format or archive any document with just a few keystrokes;
- Upload images from PictBridge-enabled cameras to edit, organise and print high-definition colour photos;
- View flash tutorials, download templates and receive Lexmark product updates via Web links.

High-resolution Scanner
The X7170 features the industry?s highest resolution flatbed scanner ? 1200 x 4800 dots per inch (dpi) resolution ? with 48-bit colour depth and CCD technology that can scan photos, reports and even three-dimensional objects.

High-resolution Colour Output
For professionals seeking colour documents and photos, the X7170 boasts borderless printing capabilities, optional six-colour support* and a maximum 4800 x 1200 dpi print resolution. With monochrome print speeds of up to 22 pages-per-minute (ppm), reports are ready when deadlines loom.

Versatile Paper Handling System
The front-loading paper path with a 4?x6? input tray handles a variety of media types including transparencies, heavy card stock, envelopes and labels. Automatic paper sensing technology helps ensure professional print output on all media types.

Easy-to-use LCD Screen
The text LCD screen helps users execute many functions quickly, without the use of a PC. A 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and 150-page input tray help process large copy, scan and fax jobs.

Standalone Capabilities
Standalone colour copy capabilities allow users to reproduce photos and documents with the touch of just one button. The X7170 fax capabilities include 400 x 400 dpi resolution and 33.6 Kbps colour options with convenience features including 100-page memory and 79 speed dials.

Network Support
The Lexmark X7170 offers an optional Ethernet and wireless network adapters so users have the flexibility to position the printer virtually anywhere in the home or office for access by multiple users.
