Light & Land has announced a one-day workshop to be held on location in the Cotswold lavender fields with landscape masters Charlie Waite and Antony Spencer. The company has been granted special permission to shoot at Snowshill, right in the heart of the Cotswolds. The workshop will run from 11am, right through to sunset, on 5 July 2011 – in order to capture the best of the day’s light. A photography workshop to awaken your senses with Light & Land

Due to the popularity for their one day summer photo courses Light & Land has added another date to the diary with a very special day on location in the Cotswold lavender fields with landscape masters Charlie Waite and Antony Spencer.

To be held on 5th July, Light & Land has been granted special permission to shoot at Snowshill, right in the heart of the Cotswolds.  Weather permitting, the workshop will run from 11am, right through to sunset – in order to capture the best of the day’s light.

With more than 20 species of lavender to awaken the senses, photographers may not be able to remember all of the botanical names, but on this one day workshop Charlie and Antony will aim to capture
the beauty of ‘Provence’ on our own doorstep.

This workshop welcomes all levels of experience and will include hands on tuition, on location at Snowshill, one of the largest lavender fields in the South of England.

The day will also include guidance on the use of filters and long exposures to capture movement and create artistic impressionist images as well as abstract, macro and classic images of these beautiful rolling swathes of lavender.

The way in which the lavender is planted can also make for some beautifully symmetrical images – so join the Light & Land team for a day at this staggeringly picturesque and fragrant location.
