Light & Land have announced that their Discovery Day, taking place on 27th November, will be headlined by Charlie Waite. His unique presentation, “Libya: One Day Before the Revolution”, tells the story of Charlie’s recent trip to Libya – escaping the country less than 24 hours before major unrest broke out. Other speakers include photographers Phil Coates, Ben Osborne, Sue Bishop and David Clapp, and Amateur Photographer editor Damien Demolder. The Discovery Day will take place at Wokefield Park Executive Centre, and runs from 9.30am to around 6.30pm, with lunch and refreshments included in the ticket price (£66).

Charlie Waite is to headline this year’s Light & Land Discovery Day with his brand new talk entitled: Libya: One Day Before the Revolution

This unique presentation tells the story of Charlie’s recent trip to Libya – escaping the country less than 24 hours before major unrest broke out.  This will be the very first time Charlie has given this talk and an exclusive for the Light & Land event.

Other speakers now confirmed for this annual celebration of photography include:
North Pole expedition photographer and film maker Phil Coates
Ben Osborne – exploring his Jurassic Journey
Sue Bishop – unfolding the beauty of flower and garden photography
David Clapp – landscape and architectural photographer
Damien Demolder – editor of Amateur Photographer

Tickets for the whole day (including all seminars & lunch) are priced at £66, and also entitle guests to £25 off any UK tours (excluding one day workshops) and £50 discount on any overseas trips booked at the Discovery Day.

Details of a number of brand new tours will also be announced at the show, including one day workshops for those just getting into photography, right through to new photographic adventures further afield.
There will also be the chance for some serious retail therapy, with exhibitors including Warehouse Express, Canon, Lowepro, Giotto’s, LEE Filters, Epson and outdoor clothing specialists Páramo.
The Discovery Day runs from 9.30am to around 6.30pm, with lunch and refreshments included in the ticket price.
