The first Lomography Gallery Store and official Lomography Embassy will open its doors on the US West Coast on 18 February. The USA’s Lomographic Society is planning an “epic celebration” with drinks, live Mariachi music, tacos and tamales, and dancing girls. The festivities will begin at 7pm - if you want to take part, send an RSVP to [email protected]. A series of workshops will also take place on the first week, starting on 19 February. February 18th, 2010 is the big date! That’s when the first Lomography Gallery Store and official Lomography Embassy will open its doors on the West Coast! To mark the event and usher in the new era of Lomography in Los Angeles, we are planning an epic celebration with an ocean of drinks, live Mariachi music, tacos and tamales, and even dancing girls! Lomography Arrives in Los Angeles with a New Store and Embassy!

The grand opening party is just the beginning, Angelinos. Get ready for the full Lomographic experience, as the new store will also be your meet-up spot, workshop location, gallery space, and feature the full line of Lomographic products and services.

Come in and paw that camera you’ve been dreaming about, pick up some film, and soon even drop off your film for processing! You’ll also be able to take part in workshops and exhibitions, or just come spend the afternoons or evenings chilling on our couches and talking shop with other Lomographers and friends!

Come and find out what the hell Lomography is as we trace the history of the Lomography Society back to its roots, and then update you on all that is going on in the vast Lomographic universe!

Meet the The Lomo LC-A+: $10 admission (students $7) includes a loaner camera and a free roll of film.  Bring your own LC-A+ for free admission!
Come find out about Lomography’s jewel and core camera, the Lomo Compact Automat!  This workshop will explore the camera’s Soviet roots up until its recent 25th birthday.  Learn tips and tricks and go for a shooting expedition through West Hollywood!

Analogue Love 101: $10 admission (students $7) includes a loaner camera and a free roll of film.
