Last year, Lomography received 114,913 entries to the first 'Ten and One' Annual Lomography Photo Awards. Now, 110 winning photographs were chosen by a carefully-selected panel of artists, industry professionals and long-time Lomographers. All of the winning photographs can be viewed on the official Ten and One Annual Lomography Photo Awards microsite. The 110 winners will each be awarded a special-edition camera produced especially and exclusively for the Ten and One Annual Lomography Photo Awards. In addition, the Lomographic Society will soon be announcing which 11 of these gifted photographers will be invited to an immersive week-long residency at the Lomography Headquarters in Vienna, Austria. The 11 lucky winners will be selected totally at random.

110 Lucky Winners

Last year, Lomography was thrilled to receive 114,913 entries to the first TEN AND ONE Annual Lomography Photo Awards from 76 countries all over the globe. Each entry was studied and admired by a panel of judges including visual artists such as Camille Rouzaud, industry professionals such as Billy Murray and Geoffrey Berliner, and long-time Lomographers including Adi Prakarsa. Lomography would like to thank everyone who entered for sharing their incredible work, and send huge congratulations to the winners. The Prizes

110 lucky winners will each be awarded a special-edition camera produced especially and exclusively for the Ten and One Annual Lomography Photo Awards. And that’s not all — 11 winners will also be awarded artist residencies at Lomography Headquarters in Vienna! Lomography thought long and hard about how to select these 11 artists. How could just 11 photographs be picked from 110 unique expressions of such a wide range of different topics?

Well, since Lomography firmly believes in luck, chance and living in the moment, it was eventually decided that the choice would be left up to fate. The 11 lucky winners will be selected totally at random! The one-week artistic residency in the beautiful city of Vienna is sure to be a week our 11 lucky winners will never forget. They’ll get to meet all the Lomography HQ staff, enjoy full use of the LomoLab, and they’ll have full access to Lomography cameras, lenses and film. At the end of the week, their work will be showcased in a collective exhibition organized by Lomography. We’ve got tons of exciting activities lined up for our winners, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming them this summer!

The TEN AND ONE Annual Lomography Photo Awards Through 10 unchanging categories and one special category which will change every year in order to reflect contemporary global issues, the TEN AND ONE Awards invite creatives worldwide to give their versions of events. Entrants are required to submit creative and experimental photos inspired by one or more of the 11 categories. The winner of every single competition on the Lomography website is entered into the running to win one of the 11 categories, which include themes such as Street Photography: The Urban Explorers Award, Nature Photography: The Off the Grid Award, and Special 2016 Award: The Migration and Identity Award. Everyone is invited to submit as many entries as they would like to as many competitions as they choose. And best of all, it’s entirely free to enter!
