LOMOGRAPHY CELEBRATES 25 YEARS WITH THREE LIMITED EDITION LC-A CAMERAS

NO RULES. HAPPY MISTAKES. ANALOGUE LOVE.

SUITED AND BOOTED FOR A BIG BIRTHDAY

With us through thick and thin, the Lomo LC-A has been by our side for 25 whole years! As a touching tribute to our steadfast, old friend — which has won over analogue hearts around the world with its instantly identifiable moody vignetting and punchy saturated colors —we’ve created three leather-clad, 25th Anniversary limited editions of the Lomo LC-A+, Lomo LC-Wide and Lomo LC-A 120.

A CONSTANT SOURCE OF EXPERIMENTAL INSPIRATION
The LC-A has been our go-to, pocket-sized companion for a whole quarter-century now, amazing us each and every day with its experimental abilities like long exposures, multiple exposures, lightning-fast zone focusing and so much more, and we can’t wait for you to experience this loveable live-wire’s creative magic, too!

STEEPED IN ANALOGUE HISTORY
No one could have predicted just how far shock waves would be felt around the analogue world when a group of footloose Viennese students stumbled across the LC-A camera in 1992. 25 years and millions of stunning pictures after that fateful encounter, the LC-A still stands proudly at the creative core of Lomography

SUITED AND BOOTED FOR A BIG BIRTHDAY
Now, in our 25th year, we’re paying tribute to the legendary, little black camera that was there right at the birth of Lomography. And what better way to honor our oldest analogue playmate than with three distinct anniversary designs and a stylish leather camera case. Clad in a unique brown leather casing, set against a black metal body the new LC-A+, LC-Wide and LC-A 120s have received a stunning new revamp. What’s more, they’re also decorated with a special embossed message, celebrating happy mistakes, analogue love, and absolutely no rules!

A CONSTANT SOURCE OF EXPERIMENTAL INSPIRATION
Each anniversary edition comes complete with Lomography’s signature experimental features — the good stuff we’ve all come
to know and love over the years — saturated colors, rich tones, vivid vignettes, long exposures, multiple exposures and so much
more. Continuing to captivate us with its unassuming beauty and unpredictable charm the LCA+’s Minitar-1 lens produces show-stoppingly sharp results on 35mm frames. The LC-A 120 keeps medium-format photography alive and comes in a lightweight and compact design, with an easy four-step zone-focusing system and automatic exposure. And with a 17mm Minigon-1 ultra-wide-angle lens, the LC-Wide offers an even more expansive outlook. Compatible with a wide range of funky accessories, these special anniversary edition cameras are available now from the Lomography Online Shop and Gallery Stores worldwide while limited stocks last — the perfect way to collect a piece of the Lomography legacy.

STEEPED IN ANALOGUE HISTORY

Twenty five years ago, the photographic world was changed forever when an experimental wild child burst onto the scene — Lomography! Inspired by the stunning LC-A shots snapped by the founders of Lomography on that fateful trip to Prague, Lomography is
responsible for bringing together an international community of over one million photographers who persistently challenge conventional art-school techniques and prescribed compositions. Lomographers tenaciously champion a freer, much louder form of photography, closer to life itself and focused on capturing the good times from upside down, the ground, or wherever the moment takes them. A quarter of a century after the genesis of Lomography, the LC-A continues to represent our Ten Golden Rules. It’s inspired road trips, exhibitions, quirky street-corner events, Antarctic treks and so much more. In celebration of the fact that experimental analogue photography is alive and strong, we, ever-devotedly, present our LC-A 25th Anniversary Editions.

WHAT THE HELL IS LOMOGRAPHY?

Through the enthusiastic engagement of Lomographic Society members, Lomography seeks to document the incredible planet around us in a never-ending archive of imagery — literally a global “Lomographic” portrait as seen through the eyes of countless individuals and cultures.

WHO THE HELL ARE LOMOGRAPHERS?
Lomographers can be anyone and everyone! All that matters is that you have a passion for photography — and a hunger for playing with the boundaries of what’s possible with this marvelous medium. Lomographers have wandering minds and ever-curious souls; a natural tendency to dance barefoot on rooftops, shoot from dusk 'til dawn, stay up until stupid o'clock to chase the sunrise. For Lomographers, the universe isn’t a place to be stared at and studied; it’s a maze to be explored and get lost in. Each day is a chance to stray off the beaten path, and find the still point of the turning world where great photography happens. The thirst to travel, create, experiment, make mistakes, share and experience this whole myriad of emotions is what keeps Lomographers restless on this little planet we call Earth.
