Macphun have unveiled that Luminar, their first all-in-one photo editor (read review), now supports Apple’s new MacBook Pro Touch Bar. When Luminar is launched on a new MacBook Pro, users will have a core set of controls on the Touch Bar which will allow them to compare images and add a new filter, as well as access key tools such as Crop, Noise Reduction, Erasing, Clone & Stamp and Transform. When using a specific tool, the Touch Bar for Luminar will feature controllers for this specific tool. In addition to the introduction of support for Touch Bar, this update to Luminar also brings improved performance, updated support for raw image files, speed improvement, and bug fixes.

Luminar adds Touch Bar support to give new MacBook Pro users fast access to key editing features to speed up their workflow.

San Diego, CA, 1st Dec 2016 - Macphun has unveiled Luminar, its first all-in-one photo editor, now supports Apple’s new MacBook Pro Touch Bar.

When Luminar is launched on a new MacBook Pro, users will have a core set of controls on the Touch Bar which will allow them to compare images and add a new filter, as well as access key tools such as Crop, Noise Reduction, Erasing, Clone & Stamp and Transform.

When using a specific tool, the Touch Bar for Luminar will feature controllers for this specific tool.

On the Clone & Stamp Tool, the touch bar allows users to customise the brush size, switch modes between paint and erase and either apply or cancel changes made.

Using the Denoise Tool on Touch Bar, users can adjust denoise modes from the lightest to the most extreme, adjust the amount, apply changes and cancel changes.

When a user switches to either the Crop or the Transform tool, users can apply their changes, cancel or reset.

Finally, when Using the Erase Tool on Touch Bar, users can customise the brush size, switch modes between paint and erase and either apply or cancel changes made.

In addition to the introduction of support for Touch Bar, this update to Luminar also includes improved performance, updated support for RAW files, speed improvement, and bug fixes.
