At Photokina 2010, the Manfrotto School of Xcellence will be offering participants a unique opportunity to listen, learn and talk with five top professional photographers. The School’s showcase will take place at the Manfrotto School of Xcellence Theatre in Hall 5.1 of the fair in Cologne, and will feature hourly presentations by photographers Bill Frakes, Joe McNally. These presentations will take place at 1pm on each day of the fair and then at 4pm on Sunday. In addition to this, at the School Booth in Hall 5.1 Bill and Joe will be giving portfolio reviews in the mornings - so aspiring photographers have the opportunity for a professional one-to-one critique of their work with feedback and advice. More portfolio reviews will be held in the afternoon, lead by another three highly respected photographers: Roberto Bigano from Italy, Uwe Statz from Germany, and Drew Gardner from the UK.

Attention all photography lovers! The Manfrotto School of Xcellence has a unique showcase in association with the Photokina Trade Fair that cannot be missed! This September from the 21st to the 26th, the Manfrotto School of Xcellence will be offering participants a unique opportunity to listen, learn and talk with five top professional photographers, who are regularly featured, hosting online tutorials and webchats and providing photographic case studies, on www.manfrottoschoolofexcellence.com.

The School’s showcase will take place at the Manfrotto School of Xcellence Theatre in Hall 5.1 of the Fair in Cologne, amongst the world’s largest Photoclubs including the monumental Photocommunity.com. In the midst of 2000 square meters of imaging expertise, the Manfrotto School of Xcellence will take to the stage with hourly presentations every day from two of their professional tutors: the highly accredited Bill Frakes (www.billfrakes.com, www.strawhatvisuals.com); currently a Sports Illustrated staff photographer based in Florida, USA who has worked with an impressive array of advertising and editorial clients in over 100 different countries; and Joe McNally (www.joemcnally.com); an internationally acclaimed photographer based in Connecticut, USA, and author of the two best sellers The Moment It Clicks and Hot Shoe Diaries- who shoots mainly for magazines (TIME, Newsweek, Fortune, New York, Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, national Geographic) and multi-national companies. These presentations will take place at 1pm on each day of the fair and then at 4pm on Sunday.

In addition to this, at the School Booth in Hall 5.1 Bill and Joe will be giving portfolio reviews in the mornings - so aspiring photographers have the opportunity for a professional one-to-one critique of their work with feedback and advice.
