The first one, Great Portraits with Your Smart Phone, will take place on 20 September 2013 from 4pm GMT, exploring questions like what do you want to say about the person you are photographing? what lighting would work best? what angle should you use? and so on. In the second webinar, Great Sporting Images with Your Smart Phone, scheduled for 10 October 2013, 4pm GMT, attendees will learn key techniques, such as panning and burst, to capture moving subjects involved in fast-paced sport. Richard will explore a range of apps to help you achieve creative images. Both webinars are free to attend.

What angle should you use? Richard will explore each of these questions and more in detail, with his advice on how to answer each one to achieve the most striking result. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about how to get the most from their smart phone’s camera feature, and learn from Richard’s vast experience.

Great Sporting Images with Your smart phone

Following his debut on Manfrotto School of Xcellence, Richard Gray will host his second webinar on 10 October 2013 exploring the specific tools and techniques to capture great sporting images with a smartphone camera.

In this webinar, attendees will learn key techniques, such as panning and burst, to capture moving subjects involved in fast-paced sport. Richard will explore a range of apps to help you achieve amazing creative images, some of which have the potential to push your photography beyond what could be achieved with a traditional SLR. Richard will also share strategies and techniques to achieve a consistent style for an event, with tips on how to best file and archive your pictures when using a smartphone. As ever, attendees are encouraged to ask questions and learn from Richard’s dynamic experience.
